Glenn Danzig

Glenn Danzig is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur, born on June 23, 1955. He is best known as the founder and lead vocalist of the punk rock band Misfits, which he formed in 1977. The Misfits gained a cult following and are considered influential in the punk rock and horror punk genres.

After leaving the Misfits in the early 1980s, Danzig formed the band Samhain and later his eponymous band, Danzig, which explored darker and more metal-oriented musical styles. His solo career has spanned various genres, including heavy metal, blues, and classical music.

In addition to his music career, Glenn Danzig has also been involved in other artistic pursuits, such as comic book writing. He has remained an iconic figure in the punk and metal scenes, known for his distinctive voice, dark lyrical themes, and charismatic stage presence.
